Eulálio has shot straight to the top contenders for me, especially since hearing him say all five syllables of his last name (eh-oo-LAH-lee-oh).

Otherwise, the now-retired Lilian Calmejane was always a favourite, and I’ll add my name to those gravitating to Benoît Cosnefroy. Plus Ana Santesteban.

Thank goodness for the rider name sound files on procyclingstats. My wife and I are petitioning to have a bonus button added that has Sean Kelly (or maybe Bob Roll) pronounce them for us.

That’s a really interesting name. Artem is a popular Russian-language first name. Schmidt could be German/Euro-descent, maybe Jewish, but strangely it’s written Shmidt without the c. Which makes me wonder if at one point it was translated from another alphabet (Cyrillic) and stuck like that - like Hodeg/Hodge who was also mentioned above (Irish family name, got misspelled in the past in Colombia, and stuck like that).
