Physio recommendation in the Nordics - inspired by Melisa Rollins

Hey!
I’m wondering if anyone here in the forum can truly recommend a good physio in Norway or the Nordics (Denmark or Sweden) who could help a 40-year-old cyclist with a crooked body who loves to train and wants to keep improving on the bike? I’m also open to considering someone who’s further away, if that’s something that could work with online sessions.

I’ve been thinking I really need to see a good physio or PT for a while. My back’s been acting up, I often get saddle sore, and I’ve developed an imbalance that’s making it hard for me to sit straight on the saddle. My wife has suggested trying a new bike fit a few times, but I’ve been holding off because I feel like I need to fix my body first, not just my bike. And then Melinda Rollins’ post came in, and it really hit home. It’s given me a boost to try and get my body sorted out. I moved to Norway from Brazil a few years back, and my local network is still reduced.

Thanks so much for any advice you can offer!

Start with an excellent bike fit to get a baseline, then take that information to an excellent physio and use that to guide their process is my advice.

The bikefit should have some movement analysis, some form of take home, some sort of follow up. Be clear when booking what your goals are, and ask if they will work with a physio.

At times the bikefit can amplify the issues you are having, so you find a neutral position that doesn’t make things ‘worse’ and then start to push forward with a physio or S&C professional.

Just my two cents.
