Get one of these-2pcs Car Tire Chuck Screw on Adapter Air Chuck Tire Inflator Compressor Connect | eBay or similar, google “screw on schrader chuck”. You can remove the existing chuck on your inflator, and screw in the clik. That’s how my similar inflator is set up.
Do you think Silca will release a bespoke adaptor?
@McCookie, just wondering if you ever had a go at asking the folks at Fumpa whether there were plans afoot to just sell that black 90° adapter, instead of the entire nozzle kit?
Currently in a similar situation, but would really like to avoid having to get the entire nozzle kit (which I already have), just to get at the adapter. If push came to shove, I’d probably choose the universal connector instead, and deal with my chagrin at the absence of a 90° option.
I didn’t actually ask that specific question, but given how Byron reckoned they’re basically giving away the extension kit at the price they’re asking, I suspect that would have just annoyed him! 
I would have to recommend the extension kit, despite the duplication of bits you don’t need (neither do I). The head that comes with it is basically the exact thing you need to convert the old Presta/schrader head, and the slip collar for the plastic hose is very easy to disconnect.
It sounds like you’re annoyed at having to buy bits you don’t need, just as I am.
The Universal connector does do the same thing but the free spinning 90° elbow is so much more convenient .

Thanks for the inputs, @McCookie. I’ve spoken with Byron before, and he’s been great with customer support. Looks like it’s the universal connector for me, since the Clik head is pretty much free rotating, once it’s Clik-ed onto the valve, and Fumpa’s hose is somewhat flexible, at 1m.

No way we could use the 1m hose - we keep ours in a mesh pocket in the back door of our camper van. It’s our travelling track pump. (We do carry a track pump too but only because I’m a boy scout - we never use it.) Hence I like the very short hose + pair of swivelling elbows.
I got a bit confused when I bought those bits - thinking the 1m hose and universal connector could be handy with our garage compressor - without thinking about the hose diameter. DOH

Right, so I’ve had some clik valves on a couple of bikes since Xmas and so far have only needed to pump them up at home. I like the system and it seems to work well with my Makita inflator. Great.
The issue I’m having is that all of my spare tubes are TPU with plastic presta valves and my pump is a cycplus electric thingy. I can’t think of a good solution that lets me inflate the clik valves when out and about but also gives me the option to inflate plastic presta valves as I have to take out the little presta connector on the hose to put clik adaptor on. My current options seem to be:
- carry around the little presta valve adaptor for the hose. This has high prbability of either being lost or left in the other saddle bag that I’m not using.
- replace all of my spares with newer metal valve tubes (more ££ and wasteful)
I’d be grateful if anyone has any other creative ideas.
You can pump up Clik valves with a push fit presta pump.
I’ve got clik valves on tubeless and still carry my original plastic valve tpu tubes and mini pump.
Yeah, I wonder if not being able to set the pressure while out and about is a worthwhile trade-off for less faff.
I’ve found that the Fumpas generally produce less heat (as measured by my hands), and have rarely (if ever) melted/deformed a plastic valve. I’ve since made the move to metal valved TPUs after my existing ones died beyond reasonable repair.
On the other hand, I’ve found that the Cycplus AS2 Ultra that I carry around for emergencies tend to heat up more, possibly due to the time needed for full inflation of a road tyre (between 28 - 32mm), from flat. When called into action to inflate a TPU tube with a plastic valve, I break the process into 2 or 3 stages, to let the heat dissipate (and the plastic valve to cool down a little), before resuming.
TL;DR - When inflating a TPU with a plastic valve, do so in stages, not all at once.
I carry a Fumpa gauge which can do all valve types.
Handy for the car and caravan too.

I just read Dave’s review. I’m searching for the Clik Alloy cap in the UK. I also note Dave had some nicer wrenches, the ones I’ve received have all been plastic. Are these a recent upgrade?
I’ve found them on the Clik website but massive postage cost, hopefully they’ll be stocked in the UK soon

What about valve extenders? Clik specific or do I use my existing ones?
I assume I’m missing something obvious as I don’t see anything about them.
I’ve never used extenders, but shirley you can use any generic extender and just swap the valve cores?

Schwalbe has a small / cheap click valve gauge. On my Lezine floor pump with click valve head and on my topeak floor pump with adapter, the gauges are reliable.
Can anyone else see product on the Clikvalve dot com website??
When I go to the website now all the product pages are blank or missing?? I can’t see how this is my computer problem, since I’ve tried different devices and I can login to my account to see my previous order - but the page for the valves I bought can’t be found now??
I sent an enquiry via their website contact form and just got a reply to say they’re at Sea Otter so they won’t be able to reply for a while - they must’ve taken their web server with them!
I just went to the site, and everything seemed to be there. Maybe try refreshing the page or maybe clearing your your history/cache?
Wow, that’s bizarre. I thought trying different browsers and devices would avoid cache issues.
I should learn to clear my caches before asking questions on forums.
