Schrader to Presta adapter + Clik adapter fail.
Silca Tattico style (different brand) pump + Clik adapter fail.
This is my first time using any sort of Schrader to Presta adapter. I tried it on two different pumps without success. Air gets released upstream into the hose and pump. On a floor pump, I could overcome the force but not with a mini-pump. Anyone else have luck with these?
The pictured mini-pump is the same as (or very similar to) the Silca Tattico. No luck with Clik adapter + the pump head in either the Schrader side or the Presta side + the valve adapter.
Good point - thanks for pointing out that the shop adapter doesn’t have the clik mechanism! I’d swear they’ve updated the description since I read it the first time. At least that’s my defence for missing it!

I had tested this combination before with a Silca Gravelero but double checked it a moment ago just to be safe. I used a Clik adapter in the schrader side of the chuck (with the lever locking it in) and it worked like a champ.
Just to be clear, are you using the brass adapters pictured or just the Clik adapter straight into the pump head?
I got some of those brass presta adapters too. That was in August so I can’t quite remember but I think I had to remove the internal bits to get them to work at all.
This particular pump refused to behave either way. The Clik adapter works fine in a couple of other Schrader pump heads I’ve tried.

I should’ve mentioned I picked up the adapter to experiment with and perhaps to carry as a supplemental emergency option.
I also noticed the inside bore looked small and was considering drilling it out… will report back.
In the interest of science, I put a Clik pump head into the schrader side of my Tattico and tried it out.
It took a couple of tries to get it seated deep enough that it wouldn’t leak when I clicked it onto the valve stem, but it worked fine and I was able to bring a tire from 70 to 80 psi without issue.

Does anyone know where there will be butyl tubes with clik valves in the US? I can only find TPU
I haven’t seen any but you can just get butyl tubes with removable valve core and swap the Presta core with Clik.

I heard back from Clik again this week regarding the new clik adapters for presta pumps that they’ve been expecting to release since September.
They’re still coming but they’ve been delayed yet again by faulty part supplies.
I hope they’re worth the wait when they finally arrive.
I bought a couple of Fumpa - clik adapters this week, including their extension nozzle, spare seals and universal connector.
I got the spare seals because I had intended forcing the standard schrader - clik adapter into the existing seal so it no longer sealed on a presta valve, but I probably won’t do that since I also got the other bits that make this unnecessary. Hopefully the pump will last so long we need new seals one day.
I was bemused to see that their Clik head for Fumpa pumps is just the standard schrader adapter with a custom thread adapter screwed on the schrader thread.
Jeez I wish they’d just sell that thread adapter ring on its own! not that it’s a big deal to buy the clik adapter with that ring on it but I dunno why they can’t explain this up front.
Likewise the extension nozzle is not bad value but I don’t need another 2 elbows and hose - I just wanted the head that I can swap with my existing elbow nozzle. So now I’ve got enough spares for several fumpas, until they change their standard threads. 
I also got them to confirm what the thread is that they use in their pumps, because I wish it was easier to use generic bits and easily convert between valve heads. The straight click head is a 1/8”BSPP thread which is a standard pneumatic component thread. (as if there’s such a thing as one standard!).

This little $35 Amazon pump Amazon.com : Mini Bike Pump, 120 PSI Mini Electric Bike Pump, 120g, Smart Auto-Stop, ±1 PSI Accuracy, Portable Electric Bike Pump Works with Presta & Schrader Valves : Sports & Outdoors is exactly the same footprint as the Cycplus and performs identically in my use. The plus is that the hose adaptor threading on the pump itself is standard schrader, so a clic head screws directly in. Unfortunately it seems to be USA only…
Wow, that’s a pretty brazen knock-off. The description on Amazon even says, “The cycplus bike pump….”. Curious if it holds up.
Did I miss an easy way to attach a Clik to my air compressor? I’m not looking for a presta intermediary attachment to overcomplicate things and failure modes.

Mine’s been flawless over 6 months. I don’t usually use it for topoffs, but have on occasion so its seen more than just emergency use.

I use the one Clik sells. It just presses in a normal check and has a pin post to push the middle stem in. It won’t click but works to add air fine. Another solution may be to set up your chuck shader style flipping the plastic pin that some have but keep the rubber grommet as presta. Planning on trying this on some old pumps I have. Fumpa suggests this on their newer pump.
What connection do you have on your compressor?
I just screw the common clik pump adapter into the schrader connection on the end of my compressor inflator hose, just like I screw the presta adapter into it when using presta valves..

I tried my Clik-Schrader converter and it doesn’t seem to jam in to the end of either attachment in a way I think would work. Do I need to go Hulk on it, or are you thinking of other schrader inflators?

I have a prestaflator inflator that has a Schroder threaded end rather than just the push-on schrader head.
I’d recommend getting a screw on schrader adapter for your compressor inflator.
