Great question, yes it does work with a schraeder valve.
I use the new Silca sealant with click conversion and find that I often need to remove the click valve and wipe off a bit of dried sealant. The valve is not clogged but it causes a very slow leak because the only thing holding the valve closed is the spring tension (and air pressure-with presta you can screw it down tighter). So after I inflate the tire I check for bubbles by immersing valve in a small shot glass size container. If there are bubbles I remove valve and wipe off some crud from the valve seat, then replace and re-inflate. Kind of a drawback.

Just ordered the starter kit, an extra set of valves, and another pump head adapter. Switching from Reserve Fillmore. I’ll update with findings. I have a silca floor pump and a Cycplus AS2 Ultra Tiny pump.
Just playing with valve, it looks like the valve that switches air from presta (default) and schraeder is activated by pushing down on the schraeder side valve actuator (the pointy thing that opens up the valve) and the Clik convertor does not press down on it, so it is not compatible ![]()
I am experiencing the same thing. I’ve had to remove a couple cores and clean the tip to allow them to spring all of the way closed to create a tight seal. Its easy to diagnose and easy to fix but definitely a small drawback. I did not inject sealant through the valve. I might try adding some light oil to clik valve to prevent this.
Definitely with the Silca sealant I only add through the unseated bead because it often clogs my syringe.
This is my valve stem (muc off) that I cut to length and re-threaded for the clik core. The tap is a 3/16-40 Model Tapered Thread that model railroad hobbyists use (info. from Click)

Canyon SRAM are use clik valves on their race bikes.
This Prestacycle inflator with a compressor and a clik adapter has been a game changer for me. I recently got a quiet compressor and it was cheaper than my OG Fumpa and WAY quieter! Also the flow rate is amazing, one quick pull on the trigger is a few psi in 2.4” tires and the Prestacycle gauge has decimals (which I appreciate on the low pressures in 2.6” and larger). 10/10 would recommend.
Great idea swapping the SILCA & CYCPLUS parts. I always use the extender on the SILCA at home and being able to direct attach a Click pump head to the CYCPLUS for the road is perfect.
I picked up a schrader extension hose (VG8 thread), cut the end off and used it to attach a Clik right angle pump head to my SILCA floor pump.
I think Clik should consider selling something like this, as their current target market probably has higher quality floor pumps and don’t want to cut their pump hose to attach the right angle pump head.
I’m also struggling to find just the right clik adapters that I want for my various pumps.
I’m curious what advantage your extension hose has over the basic clik adapter screwed into your floor pump head?
I still don’t understand why they started with adapters for schrader pumps, when their valves a plainly designed to replace presta valves.

I’ve had this pump for 10+ years and before that, a couple of Joe Blow pumps spread out over another 10+ years and they’ve all had right angle pump heads, so part of it is familiarity, but I also find a right angle pump head is easier to use, clicking directly onto the valve stem, with no manoeuvering of the hose in spoke/cassette area.
Regarding the Clik pump head, it uses the standard thread for screw on floor pump heads, so makes sense that they designed it this way.
I would imagine they’re having reliability issues with a Clik pump head that will clamp into an existing presta pump head, as the clamp area would have to be similar to a valve stem, thin walled and small diameter, easily broken.
I’m guessing the issue is due to one of the problems that Clik Valves address - the variability in presta chucks. I thought the recently announced compressor adapter might also work to convert all presta pumps, but they explicitly say that is not the case - https://clikvalve.com/products/clik-valve-slid-fit-air-chuck-adapter-for-compressor-shop-inflators.
FWIW, I’ve been using Clik Valves with Silca’s v2 sealant for several months without issue. I did apply oil to the valves from the outset, though.
This uses a similar barb style shaft as the right angle pump head, which uses a screw on sleeve to reinforce the hose junction area, hard to tell looking at the pictures if it’s a similar diameter, but the shop pump head doesn’t have the Clik mechanism, which is really the magic of the system.
I’m switching over from Stan’s Race to SILCA v2, just set up the first tire with it yesterday.
Oh, yes. I forgot that the shop head doesn’t have the Clik mechanism. I agree too that that is the secret sauce.
