I’ve got the previous gen rotors from Caden and they’ve been great. Two piece floating rotors, full steel disc, have had them on the bike for 18 months with lots of hard braking and long descents, and they’re still straight as an arrow. Caden has since released a new, lighter version: Disc Brake Rotors Road Center Lock Floating 160mm 140mm
Pads: Organics will wear quickly in muddy, gritty conditions. If you like playing in the mud, or are doing a big event in those conditions, you may want something harder.
The only pads I’ve tried in my Ultegra brakes other than Shimano are the SwissStop RS. Very quiet, nice feel. I don’t keep good records for wear but they seemed to last a reasonable time.
