What grease to use - Campagnolo ceramic USB cup and cone bearings

Hi,

I’ve got a Campagnolo’s Bora WTO wheelset with usb cup and cone bearings and am gearing up to service them. What kind of grease would you use? I’ve seen Mapdec’s youtube channel mention that they use Kluber Isoflex 15, but would a simple Motorex 2000 be enough? What do you guys think?

I use Motorex 2000 for my USB bearings. It’s very very similar to Kluber. Kluber manufactured Campagnolo’s grease which is why some people insist on it, but it can be extremely difficult, if not impossible to source as a retail consumer in small amounts depending on where you are (or at least they don’t make it easy). Unfortunately, Campagnolo doesn’t make/product grease anymore.

I also use Motorex 2000 for my Campagnolo bearings. It’s a bit thicker than the stock Campagnolo grease, but plenty fast-rolling enough for me – it doesn’t exactly feel draggy, and it lasts a good while before it starts to discolour.
