I turn the volume down and watch it like I would a baseball game on TV.
Agreed. It’s terrible. I find the coverage on Flo to be terrible in general.
For me Flo can be hit or miss. At times I can really enjoy it. I enjoyed this year’s Tour coverage as an example. But to have such a poor showing for a race such as the Vuelta is bad, like a creaky bottom bracket bad.
No coverage / commentary can be so bad that it would force me to Peacock.
I actually have thought the FLO coverage with Kort and Hannah has been pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but solid and reliable.
I miss the GCN+ days!
Ditto! Life wa better then.
Totally agree. Flo is way better than Peacock and I find Koet de Kort and Hannah to be a great commentary pair.
I cannot stand the commentary on FloSports. Being Bilingual, back in the GCN+ days I’d swap between English and French based on what I felt like that morning but Flo has completely ruined that by having some dude in his shed in Quebec commentating. I wish they would just get the Eurosport feed if that was possible
Flo’s biggest advantage is availability but its commentary team leaves a lot to be desired. Personally I don’t think Hannah is very good and these commentators for the Vuelta are often missing action for tagents and semi related nonsense
If you have any (listening) competence in Spanish, I recommend VPNing over to RTVE’s coverage (RTVE Play. Los contnidos para RTVE) That’s my solution for this one.
I am just happy we have coverage here in USA via Peacock.
Lol! I noticed the shed (basement?) commentary as well. I guess there is no French from France commentary available like there was for the TdF?
My main issue with the Flo coverage is the absolute garbage highlights clips. There appears to be zero effort put into those. The Vuelta’s own highlights videos are so much better.
I got Flo a number of years ago for the cycling and wrestling content. However, at least in the US, many (most?) of the cycling events are geo restricted so I wasn’t getting what I felt I was paying for.
Bye Flo!!
Get a VPN subscription and you can unlock everything on FLO by setting your location to Canada.
So I should get Flo for about $150 a year and then pay for a VPN to get the coverage that Flo has but can’t be viewed in the US? No thanx. If I am paying for the coverage, that is what I should get. I don’t so I dropped Flo.
Well, that is not how contracts work, unfortunately. You were never “paying for the coverage” because FLO doesn’t have the rights to ASO races in the US.
What part of this is hard for you to understand?? I do understand how contracts work. Flo advertises the coverage but neglects to tell that most of the races they advertise are not available in the US. Actually very few are available. IMO, that is being deceptive as the vast majority of the events can not be viewed here. You have obviously chosen to use a VPN which is your right. As for me, I decided that paying that amount per year was not worth it to me.
With that I am done so anything else you write will be ignored.
Flo is also really bad at showing spoilers in my experience.

I’m not certain why you getting so upset over this….I was simply trying to help you out.
They are horrible about it….amazes that they still do it, despite the constant criticism from their subscribers.
You can get around it by setting the “Watch” page as your bookmark, not the Flo homepage. On the Watch page, there are just thumbnails of all the available replays to watch, no spoilers.
