After a mid-season break, the mtb pro calendar is about to swing into a nice dense few weeks of racing!
Aug 30/31 Les Gets
Sept 13/14 World Championships Crans Montana
Sept 20/21 Lenzerheide
Oct 4/5 Lake Placid
Oct 11/12 Mont St Anne
As we’re now in a world of silly subscription streaming services, which are less deserving of our hard earned as they monopolise viewing rights, forcing fans to juggle subscriptions and vpn regions for limited live and catch-up access, all the while shrinking replay windows and locking away classic content, making us pay more for less.
So here’s a public service announcement (PSA): Signing up for two months gives access to four weekends of racing, plus maybe the worlds. Worth it?
I’m keen to watch more MTBing, but always forget it’s on - typically because it’s not on during the Australian daytime, and then I forget to try and watch it before I find out what happened anyway! I’d love to know the easiest way to watch it over here.
For watching the MTB World Cups (us being in Australia), we signed up to https://watch.ucimtbworldseries.com - but have to use a VPN to New Zealand (as it is available there but not in Aus). It wasn’t that expensive…. However they don’t have the World Championships listed on their schedule.
