Tire patch recommendation? (bulk patches, not kit)

What are the best patches out there? I’ve used Rema, Park Tool kit, and some others….wondering if there’s a consensus out there on the best.

I’m looking for patches to use at home that will get the job done best….not looking for quick ‘on-the-road’ type fixes.

Rema, no contest. Available in 100 packs.

I have very good experience with Rema, both tire/tube patches. There is a special glue (blue colored) for tire patches.

I am lucky to have them in a local shop, so no waiting for shipping.

I once bought a 100-pack of Rema patches and a pot of the vulcanizing agent. As far as I can tell, the patches don’t go bad, but unless you’re puncturing a lot, the vulcanizing agent will dry out before you get to the bottom of it.

That’s been my experience too. I’ve got both Rema and cheapo patches bought on Amazon, all work fine with proper surface prep, a decent glue, and obviously getting rid of whatever caused the puncture rather than hoping a patch magically cures that.

Any decent bulk patch purchase will be be inexpensive and last several lifetimes or support an entire cycling club, but no “bulk” purchase of adhesive will last more than about a year after first use. Even self-adhesive patches have a limited shelf life before the adhesive dries out. My solution for this has varied between buying a couple cheap small kits just for the tiny tubes that I use up over 1-2 years, or picking up rubber cement from school/office supply, works great on butyl and much cheaper than vulcanizing solution.
