- Quäldich - database of climbs around the world. Community created and highly comprehensive and detailed. In German.
- Whatbars Handlebar Database – specs and silhouettes of many handlebars, mostly MTB.
- Bicycle Rolling Resistance – exhaustive testing of tires.
- Sheldon Brown’s Tire Sizing Systems – makes sense of nonsensical tire sizes. Everything on Sheldon’s website is worth checking out, but this is especially useful.
- Wheel Atlas - database of wheels
- Better Shifting – Lots of information on Shimano Di2 specifically.

- XY Bike Calc – includes tools to calculate seatpost height, stem configurations, bike position, etc
- Gear calculator – computes and graphically represents gearing
- Power & speed calculator – estimates speed from power or vice-versa

- Adventure Cycling Association Routes – Maps of routes for bike touring across the USA. The ACA started out as Bikecentennial with the Trans Am route, now has many others.
- Eurovelo Route Network – Maps of routes for bike touring across and beyond the EU.
- Randonneurs USA route library – routes all over the USA, mostly in the distances randos ride (200/300/400/600/1000 km).
- Japan’s National Cycling Routes – Six routes ranging from 70 to 1400 km, mostly in the 100–200 km range.
