Have a Rockshox air suspension fork thats sat in the shed unmoving for about four years. What should I do before putting it in a bicycle and trying to ride it?
The best answer is probably a rebuild - you might only need a “light” rebuild. i.e. changing the gaskets and oil.
But if its not worth that, turn it upside down for 24 hours to let the oil saturate the seals. Presuming it doesn’t leak, you might get away with running it with no service.

This, but bear in mind oil degrades over time, and any o-rings/seals left dry may also have degraded, so consider how important it is that the fork works as well as intended. While you may not have any visible leaks, oil might be getting past internal seals. If you want it working at its best, you’ll need the oil and o-rings changed.
yeah I think it is off to TF tuned at some point. Thankyou!
