My wife is desperately trying to find a new pair of sunglasses that fit her face and also allow her to have prescription lenses. She typically has to buy youth frames unless someone has something super small and we’re having a heck of a time finding options here.
We thought we had a winner with some Tifosi glasses, but they balked when she sent the RX info saying they can’t accommodate that size and her very mild RX (maybe PD put them off?).
Oakley youth we will go try again, of course, but wondering if anyone else has solved this and maybe someone has an idea we haven’t come across yet….
Have you looked at SportRX? They aren’t always the cheapest, but they will work with you to make sure that you get a set of glasses that work with your prescription.
Depends on kind of style sunglasses you are searching for, but Roka do some styles in a smaller size. I too have also previously bought youth Oakleys due to having a narrow/small face but I find the Roka small frames perfect. And I have bought two pairs with my progressive prescription applied with absolutely no issues.
I have a small face and prescription lenses - I currently have Rudy Project Rydon Slim frames, which fit well and they accommodate 2 different thickness for the lenses (as I have one weaker eye). They are also transition lenses so work for both day and night riding. (I got them through an optometrist in Canberra, Australia.)
2nd SpirtRX. They are great to work with online or on the phone. Also, I believe they have a satisfaction guarantee. At least they did when I last worked with them. They can also relense old frames with a new prescription.
