Has anyone tried Silca tubeless tape? I’m not so curious about the tape itself but rather the finishing tape, i.e. the tape they provide to cover the end of the tubeless tape once it’s in place in the rim.

Suggestion is to use a “short bit of clear vinyl tape” to cover the end, although it is also noted that “this shouldn’t be necessary if you’ve done all the other steps correctly”.
