Short Reach flared bars with flatter ramps/transitions

Recently switched from 80mm reach Easton bars to Teravail Radia (Salsa Cowbell) to try and bring the controls to a more natural hand position, but I’m not loving the ramp on the bars. It seems like any bar under 80mm that I can find has this same issue where the control location requires the bars to either not be level and/or running the controls more up. Both of which I find feels like it reduces the reach even more (even after a longer stem).

So just trying to see if anyone has found 12-16 degree flare bars with flatter tops compared to your Zipps, Salsa/Teravail, Ritchey’s of the world. I thought Deda might work but they have the same issue where the ramp is pretty steep.

These are with Sram D1 controls, if that helps.

Is it Rival D1? Its very difficult to get a smooth transition with those levers, they’re just not the best shape - the rear part of the lever body is very chunky, so its hard to get it level. Those Zipp bars are normally a safe bet for a nice lever position with other levers. If budget allows, it’s worth considering upgrading to the new generation Rival E1 levers.

Force D1, with the contact pad adjustment. I actually find it easier to make the D2 design work over the D1.
