I’ve got a R8025 (hydraulic, mechanical) shifter where the bolt holding the shifting mechanism keeps getting loose.
Idk the name of the bolt but it’s the one at 2:20 here that requires snap ring pliers to remove.
When the bolt gets loose, the shifting gets very sloppy. It takes only a matter of one or two weeks to start feeling it loosen up after I retighten it.
Do I need to add some kind of loctite and if so what kind?
