Are there any safe/effective way of remove scuffs from matte finish? I just received a Scott Addict RC frameset and debating between sending it back or taking a partial refund because of these scuffs from the shipping box.
Since it’s matte, there’s a risk that if you manage to rub out the scuff, those areas may become slightly different in appearance to the adjacent matte areas that weren’t affected (think shinier). And once you try to fix it, you may take ownership of the defects in the eyes of the supplier. Since it’s a brand new frame, I would send these photos to the supplier and ask them for a replacement frame. They may counter with a discount and you can decide from there.
