QBP Contact for Warranty

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help with a contact at QBP for a warranty issue please?

I bought a new commuter - a Specialized Turbo Vado with an Enviolo internally geared hub a few weeks ago. The hub seems to have failed within the first few miles and my Specialized dealer was directed to QBP for Enviolo warranty service. It’s been close to two weeks since they contacted QBP via email and they haven’t had a response other than what I think is an automated email saying they’d be in touch within a few days.

The Specialized dealer explained that they’ve followed up with other emails and calls, but there’s not much more that they can do. They’ve offered to let me return the bike for a refund, but for various reasons this bike really meets my needs and I want to keep it. So, I’m hoping that maybe someone here has a contact at QBP or Enviolo and can help out with making a connection so I can try and get this sorted out.

TIA!

Stu

When I had a question about whether a Salsa stem had been subject to recall, I contacted Salsa directly and someone answered fairly quickly. I don’t remember for sure whether I initially emailed or called, but I was on the phone with someone after not-too-much time.

Is there any publicly listed way to contact Enviolo? Rather than just the parent company QBP.

For clarity, does the hub work? I would be inclined to return the bike, then the shop has an incentive to fix the wheel. Tell them when they fix it, you may consider buying the bike again.

There is a QBP warranty form for Enviolo here: https://support.enviolo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015669899-Warranty-process-North-America-QBP#1---gather-all-necessary-product-information link on that page takes you here Adobe Acrobat Sign*

Seems fairly straightforward to fill out the form for the dealer. Have they filled this form out?

Whenever I have to call QBP, I always end up talking to a real person who is knowledgeable.

I am trying to reach someone at Fazua (QBP sells Fazua parts, but doesn’t have all their parts) and that is similarly frustrating…“we’ll be in touch.”

Thanks for the replies! Enviolo refers to QBP for warranty, and I can’t even find a phone number for Enviolo in the US. The dealer did fill out the warranty request form, and has followed up via email, but hasn’t heard anyhing back.

I don’t want to return the bike as it really does meet some specific needs better than anything else I’ve found, and it was on sale for a really good price.

I found that the dealer has a slightly newer version of this bike in stock, and asked them to swap the wheel/hub/controller from that bike onto mine and they agreed to try. I think it’s as straight-forward as swapping the rear wheel and performing a quick calibration, so I’m hopeful that will resolve this in the next day or so!
