So I’ve been thinking about offering a “cycling second home” via the Classifieds to the EC community, but just curious to get feedback to see if it would be of any interest…
The offer would be the seasonal rental of a bedroom, bike & gear storage space, with pick up and drop off at train station also possible. It would be for the period late April/early May through late Oct/early Nov, for part-time use on weekends and/or some number of days per month, for one person or a couple or two sep bedrooms for friends. Also could consider offering an outdoor parking spot for the season if the person wished to keep their car up here. No pets. Adults only.
I like the seasonal idea just because I could get used to the person/s, but maybe just a weekend offer with a discount if you book more than one might be of more interest tho tbqh less appealing to me.
My home is neat and tidy but nothing fancy 
I could use some additional income and my home up here (closest train stations in Rhinebeck and Hudson) is in an area popular with cyclists and even near a rail trail. Not trying to make mega bucks here, just a bit of extra income…
