In the recent Geek Warning podcast, I believe @Dave_Rome mentioned something about the early batch of the PrestaCycle Pro inflator heads having issues. What are the issues? I bought an early batch and it’s kinda leaky. Would the rebuild kit for ~$5 online fix the issue?
Yep, leaking or blowing off were the early issues. The rebuild kit seems to solve the issue.
I’ve had two leaking PrestaCycle Pro inflator heads that needed to be replaced under warranty. The third is doing fine for the past 6 months.
I don’t know if mine is from the early batches but it’s still holding up fine. It has been in use since early January 2025.
No way, mine always popped off and I have to hold in place with my free hand. Thanks for the heads up!
