I’m primarily a roadie/triathlete, and have a pretty cheap MTB that I use intermittently, but would like to do some more of this winter. I live in the north of England, so I’ll mainly be riding forest trails, towpaths etc (Delamere Forest, Cannock Chase, or if I’m feeling exceptionally brave with the bike Llandegla are likely destinations).
The bike still has stock tyres (Decathlon own brand, fine, but not great), and if I’m doing a bit more I’d like to fit some better tyres to enjoy it more. I also want to install them tubeless, as that isn’t how it came stock.
For this kind of terrain (and system weight of ~85kgs), does anyone have any decent tyre ideas that might be useful to consider for an occasional off roader?
