So, it was mentioned that the Squirt formula was 40% cheaper than Silca Hot Wax. However, comparing prices in the US, it is $40 per bag of Silca 500mg, and $44 per bag of Squirt 500mg. Is this just a case of US being more expensive than Europe, where Dave was getting his info from?

Wow! Didn’t realise squirt was so expensive. We pay about $7 for a 120ml bottle here in South Africa! It’s definitely not worth it compared to Silca or Ceramicspeed at those prices…

Ah, yes, it does, by about 10%. RRP Silca hot melt plus single endurance chip is £70+, but can be found for £60. That gives approx 570 g of wax in total, so a little over 10p per gram (which seems crazy when put that way). The Squirt is £45 for 500g (can’t see it cheaper/on offer anywhere) so 9p per gram.
If however the squirt wax is as good as you/Adam hinted, then the cost per mile could be much better. I’ll be particularly interested in how well it copes with contaminants in Adam’s testing, given the typical wet/mud riding here in the UK.
