I’m looking to get the new Reacto. But I’m puzzled on which size I am.
Merida’s website says I am a small. However after riding a size small it felt tiny. My current bikes are a sl7 Tarmac in a 56 and a 2018/9 Crux in a 54.
When comparing the small and medium reacto to the sl7 it seems like the medium would be the correct size but it’s the stand over height which seems to be the deal breaker(+24mm).
But then the effective top tube on the small compared to a 56 SL7 is really short. How would I make a small Reacto fit me?
My SL7 has 120mm stem with the pro vibe aero pursuit bars. So I’m stretched out on my tarmac.
Any suggestions or advice on what I should be looking at? I’m not educated on bike geo to begin with so I’m already in over my head.
