Midweight long sleeve jersey

Looking for a midweight (basically not lightweight aero, but also not brushed fleece material) long sleeve jersey.

Any competitors to Rapha’s midweight jersey I should look into? Would anyone know how their Brevet jersey compares?

This should probably be closed and reposted under Cycling Kit.

Fwiw, the kit what to buy tag is there, but weirdly hard to find.

I like my 7mesh Synergy, I’ve found it very adaptable for various temperatures. It’s been discontinued and replaced with something that’s theoretically more gooder (I forget the name of the new model).

I’ve recategorised the topic :+1:

Attaquer long sleeves are all I wear.

I have a few that I’d recommend sitting in my longsleeve kit drawer that suits ~10-15C:

  • I have the Rapha Pro Team Long Sleeve Midweight Jersey as you mentioned, and find that it’s fantastic. Great fit, and suits a very wide range of temperatures. I think it’s a PolarTech material, but it doesn’t say that on the website or garment.

  • MAAP Training Thermal LS Jersey - it’s a very tight fit, nice stretchy material, but I really like it. Perfect weight.

  • Rapha core thermal longsleeve jersey - Fantastic value for money. Great weight, great fit. The material isn’t very pliable though, which is my only criticism.

  • Gore Wear C5 Thermo Long Sleeve - Great fit, great weight, and the florescent yellow glows like a lightbulb.

  • Sportful Fiandre and Castelli Gabba - I’m guessing Steve Smith (head of Castelli and Sportful) will scold me for putting these in the same bucket, but they’re both fairly similar in my eyes and ones I’d wear for a guaranteed miserable day. I have long sleeve and short sleeve versions of both, and they’re brilliant.

Thanks for all the advice - got the pro midweight on the post and completely botched choosing the right size.

However in general, I think it’s race fit is a bit too tight for me and I might look at others once this is returned
