Does anyone know how the age groups will be categorised?
And to clarify, your finish time on stage one will determine which group you start in for stage 2?
I had the same question. Are we racing in groups with our respective age categories? Or do we get grouped like Cape Epic where it’s grouped based on your time after stage 1?
If the latter, do we just need to keep track of race numbers to know who we’re racing against? And how do we make up time on others in our category this way?
Maybe the bigger question - is this a race or a ride? I still not totally clear on that!
I got an answer from the organisers and it’s similar to how Cape Epic or similar would work. Self seeding for stage 1, and then you get grouped based on your stage time (A group, B group, etc).
