Good morning!
I have a Fezzari (now Ari) Empire with Shimano 105 Di2. I got the Magene PES P505 Base last year and put it on but then ran into an issue with the crankarm rubbing against the Front Derailleur. It turns out that the q-factor for the Magene is 1mm narrower than the default Shimano crank. I did get the rubbing to stop last year after a lot of fooling around with the derailleur setup. This year, when I took the bike off of my indoor trainer I checked the cranks and made sure everything was tight. It seems that the left crank arm was a little bit loose and when I corrected that, the rubbing came back.
Any suggestions? I’m thinking about trying a 1mm spacer between the bottom bracket and the drive side, but didn’t know if there were any other options that might be better.

Here’s a note from my bike shop after putting the Magene base on my ultegra groupset:
Front mech adjusted and gears tuned. The Magene offset does effect the chainline and mech limits. An inquiry has been lodged with them to get more information on how they deal with this issue. The shifting is significantly improved and this will likely fix the chaindrop and tension
Magene sent the shop some Magene chainrings to see if that would solve the issue but in the end the adjustments the shop had made were sufficient to remove any further issues. So it is possible to get it right with Ultegra at least.

I have 105 di2 on one of my bikes, I had an Ultegra crankset on it but the power meter was acting up so I recently switched it for the Magene one from another bike. The front derailleur rubbed a bit but I fixed it with the limit screw.
Shift to the small ring and biggest cog and look straight at the derailleur and you’ll see it. I think it’s a 2.5mm hex, turn it until it stops making noise. It shouldn’t take very much.
