Does anyone have experience with both latex and Pirelli P Zero SmarTube RS inner tubes? I currently run latex and tried RideNow TPU, but the comfort was noticeably worse. The Pirelli uses a slightly different material, so I was wondering if it might be time to try TPU again. I like latex and don’t mind checking pressure before every ride. I’m only looking to save about 50 g per tire.
I have experience of the smartube. I bought two, one failed by next day, the other is still going strong. The busted one was replaced with a ridenow because it was a Sunday and that was all I get. Besides which it was also 5 times cheaper than the smartube
I run them in Pzero Race RS clincher type tyres
no idea about latex. well, latex tubes as in pneumatic technology for bicycles, anyway.
