Kitsbow Icon replacement?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a shirt similar to the (unfortunately now defunct) Kitsbow Icon? Honestly, I use mine 98% of the time off the bike, so the rec does not have to be from a bike-specific company. I’m just looking for that style of shirt, and of similar quality (but price tag doesn’t have to be so high :blush:).

Maybe reach out to the former CEO on LinkedIn. https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidbillstrom/

He is active on there and seems to be still involved with the apparel space. Who knows, maybe he knows of some leftover Kitsbow products floating around.

Unfortunately the price is actually higher but the Beringia Farallon Shirt is the closest thing I’ve seen from a material, style and fit perspective. Men's Farallon Wool Plaid Shirt - Regenerative Wool – Beringia

@Ryan_Simonovich thanks, worth a shot

@Chuck_Moore appreciate it, I’ll take a look!

Try searching for Cascada Land shirt and are Search And State still trading?

Any direct experience with the Cascade shirt? Looks nice…but the $45 shipping to U.S. is hard to stomach. Especially if it doesn’t end up fitting.

Ah, I’m in the UK so didn’t think to factor that in . No, no personal experience with the brand but bikepacking.com seem to rate them … Cycling-Friendly Flannels and Bikepacking Button-Downs - BIKEPACKING.com

I wish I had bought more of Kitbow’s product. Their unlined bib knickers are one of my favorite fall riding shorts.

Yeah, I wish they had said at one point “place any last orders now” but I do get that when they pulled the plug, they were losing money and if they let people place last minute orders that would only lose them more money…

I’m pulling for you to order this and let me know!

A company called Roark made a near replica a few years back from Pendleton wool. I bought one and it was nearly indistinguishable from my Icon. Not sure if they still make those flannels but it’s worth exploring. I think maybe it was called a Norseman flannel?…

Might be a stretch but maybe reach out to Ornot; I believe they bought all of Kitsbow’s fabrics…

Oh I didn’t know that, interesting. Funnily enough I just placed an ornnot order…and of course forgot the member discount until this post connected the dots for me :sob:
