Latest Karoo FW 1.658.2535 seems to introduce GPS issues. It has for me and many others on the HH user forum. The GPS drops at random and is only fixed with a full reboot of the unit. If you haven’t installed it yet, DONT. I’m sure they’ll fix it soon. It’s the only time I’ve had a problem with this reliable unit.

UPDATE: support have informed me that there’s a fix, which is applied if the unit is turned off and rebooted in your WiFi zone.
Ive been having other issues with this firmware update. Not sure I’m seeing GPS issues, but when I turn it off and plug in I get no percentage on the screen. If I attempt to turn it on, nothing. dead. Takes a bit of trial and then boots. Hope this does fix itself as suggested.
According to users on the HH forum the “fix” has mixed results. Also it might not be from the FW update as some report now having GPS issues without the new FW. A headache for all, that hopefully can be resolved quickly.
My issue now is the Hammerhead companion app won’t allow me to migrate and log SRAAM?
