How to Watch Pro Racing in 2026 - a brief update

Not sure where to ask this and throwing in here. Before the shift from discord to here there was active discord channel during live races. Cannot find here and seems to be gone from Discord. Can someone point me in right direction :backhand_index_pointing_left::backhand_index_pointing_right::backhand_index_pointing_up::backhand_index_pointing_down::index_pointing_up:

Huge news, absolutely love CBC Gem for sports. Do you know if worlds are also going to be on Gem?

No idea, but you can watch it on the UCI youtube channel.

Back when I was able to have a Eurosport/Discovery account from the US, I’d find that Cyberghost IPs would get blocked now and again - never had a problem once I paid extra for a dedicated personal IP. If Mullvad is a popular VPN, it’s probably easy to identify a handful of IPs that are seeing too much traffic.

Yeah same thing here but I hit them up for a full refund & got it in a few days of asking.

Hi @Chris_Grigio . Trying to follow what u did but the wise acc set up asks for evidence of my inputted (German) address, ie a utilities bill or similar. How did u get around that?

It’s still working for me Anthony. I use Nord VPN and refresh the VPN connection to Germany immediately before opening the D+ app and it lets me through. If you’ve been on the VPN connection for too long beforehand, D+ detects too many login attempts from that IP address and classifies it as a VPN. But once you’re in, D+ doesn’t kick you out.

I found a fix for AirPlaying to apple TV - I installed the Nord VPN app on my appleTV and when I connect that to Germany as well, AirPlay from my IPad works fine.

Interesting - they didn’t ask me for that. I think it is an ID verification process for anti money laundering rules, and I just provided them with my Australian passport (and maybe my Australian drivers licence - can’t recall) and it lets me thru. Edit it was a while ago but I think my first transfer (a small amount like €20) from my Australian bank account in the same name may have obviated the need to provide proof Of residence. See the info here Guide to getting verified | Wise Help Centre

If you can see the ‘Racing’ category (on mine, it’s below Podcasts), there should be a ‘*Races’ thread that contains a bunch of threads, one for each race.

Just tried to use a vpn for SBS and it gets a playback error. Anyone else having trouble? Been using SBS with VPN for years and always worked fine, until today

Yesterday SBS wouldn’t even load the first ad for me, even though I always turn off any adblocking before using it, and today it doesn’t even show the ad screen, just a couple flashes of “loading” then nothing. The last time it worked for me was on an early Giro Women stage before I switched to the YouTube world feed via NZ because it didn’t have ads, so it broke for me too some time in the last week.

I tried SBS today for the first time…using NordVPN, I had no issues logging in and watching the broadcast.

But was greatly disappointed that it was jus the international feed w/ Ant McCrossen. I coulda gotten that from VPNing into the Flo Canada stream!

Free UK based broadcast of Tour de France on S4C the Welsh language channel.

You have to set up an account in Welsh and input a Welsh postcode but then based in the UK you can stream Live pictures. Unfortunately commentary is in Welsh but Manon Lloyd is fun to listen to!!!

Not sure if you got it working, but I’m using a VPN and SBS on a Mac (Safari browser) and I needed to go into Safari settings and turn off content blockers. It works for me. Hopefully you got it working in time for Le Tour.

I was able to get SBS’ broadcast to work on MacOS in Firefox Saturday and Sunday via NordVPN, but I couldn’t get it to load successfully this morning on iOS in Firefox or Safari this morning (also via NordVPN).

I was able to get SBS working with NordVPN on ios by turning off Scam and Phishing protection in the NordVPN app. I had no problem watching the Giro on my old phone using this setup but on my new phone I was getting a playback error that mentioned Adblockers and VPN. I didn’t even realize NordVPN had this feature so I’m not sure if it’s new or perhaps they’ve just changed the default settings so that it’s enabled by default when it wasn’t in the past.
