Bit of an unusual ask, but here goes…
I’m looking for English-language journalists and media creators (ideally UK & Ireland-focused) who might be interested in joining Officine Mattio as our guests at the upcoming Granfondo Alpi Del Mare in Mondovì, Northwest Italy 
.
I’ll be aiming to engage with the Escape Collective team separately, but if anyone can point me towards other prospective journalists (print or online), or new-media creators on YouTube, podcasts or elsewhere, I’d be very grateful.
This will be the first edition of the Granfondo, and my role is supporting Officine Mattio in the UK & Ireland. Unlike most Italian bike brands, Officine Mattio manufacture all of their carbon, steel and stainless steel road and gravel frames in-house in Northern Italy. Their tube-to-tube carbon process (using raw carbon sheets, not pre-preg) allows them to offer full custom geometry, as well as offering full custom steel builds.
During the weekend, Officine Mattio will also unveil two brand-new carbon models, so there’s plenty of story to tell for the right journalist or media partner.

Sunday 21 September 2025 – participation in the Granfondo (103km / 1970m ascent) or the Mediofondo (59km / 1114m ascent)
