I got an email today regaling me of all the amazing new features that my Garmin 1050 just got thanks to the November update - Real Time Weather Updates, smart fueling, gear statistic, group ride stats, advanced cycle coach, etc.
Having decided I’d like to know more so I could see if they were useful or not, I clicked on the link to read more - only to find it sent me to a web brochure that repeats the list of features without any explanation as to how I envoke these features??
I’ve now wasted another ~45 mins searching only to find more useless information including Garmin’s instructions that don’t match the menus on my Garmin Connect app. I give up. I wish I hadn’t read the damned email.

The weather overlay thingy is hidden away as a widget…. and still crashes on me. Gear stats also don’t work when switching from ratio to chainring view.

And you have to go into the sensor settings for your linked shifters and enter the correct chainring and cassette sizes to get useful information.
