Extending XTR PD-M9200 q-factor

Curious if anyone has found a reliable solution to extend the q-factor of the XTR PD-M9200 pedals to (ideally) 62mm?

What crankset are you using?

SRAM Dub Wide.. I normally run 65mm q-factor on road and with being dub wide 62mm would be the sweet zone for me..

Hmm.

Does Sram offer different width cranks? Shimano has 9100, 9120, 9130 etc.. that can wind up with different q factors.

Since we’re only talking 3mm, have you considered moving your cleats 3mm inboard? That would create the same effect and would still be centered enough over the shoe to not create any imbalances.

A couple of crank washers would help. However, adding more than say 2 washers each side is not a great idea as the crank’s aluminum threads can be the failure point as fewer engaged threads increases the shear stress on the first thread. A preventative helicoil might help as it replaces the aluminium thread with steel. But at that point simpler and possibly cheaper to change the crank, move cleats, dremel wider slots in shoes etc.
