Columbus Trittico stem compatibility

This might be a little niche, but hopefully this niche little community can help me out.

Got a customer keen to run a Columbus Trittico fork on his Curve, however he wants a narrower bar. Bizarrely, the narrowest Trittico bar is 40cm C-C.

Has anyone tried other stems, or paired something like an Enve In-Route bar with the Columbus stem?

The Enve stem doesn’t work, but no doubt there are other good options!

Maybe also post in Campagnolo Spoken Here in discord. Good luck. Ahhhh. Totally disregard this. Wrong post wrong place.

Good shout thanks!

How did you get on with this? I am thinking of buying the Trefoil fork to use with my current handlebar and stem. Can’t find much info on whether other stems are okay to use with this fork.

Short Answer - Yes.

Longer Answer - Yes, with some squeeze; I am running a Trefoil fork (as the Trittico group one is called, annoyingly) with a Trittico stem and a 38cm Prime Primavera Aero Carbon Handlebar with SRAM Force AXS D2. The hydraulic brake hoses are internal from the shifters through the stem/fork/headset (Hope, External, Tapered) with the rear going via downtube / BB / Chainstay to just in front of the rear caliper and the front internal through the Trefoil fork. I suspect any handlebar with an opening in the middle of the centre section would work, depending on the size of hole and bar angle (I am running the aero section of the bars level and the stem in the -8degree / +5mm position and all lined up, just.

It all works and looks tidy BUT it is a squeeze in the bar and stem and was a bit of a pain to get it all through, the way the stem front plate bolts on is via a bolt through the middle of the stem into a captive insert which takes up stem space, as does the internal inserts for the computer mount.

The trittico manual is fairly good and found here.
