CB pedals won't thread into cranks

Hi, I am building up a new bike and got a pair of Garbaruk cranks. When installing my Cranks Brothers Eggbeater 3 pedals (by hand) they will only thread two full revolutions into the cranks.

My CB pedals has been used without issue on Shimano Cranks. I tried installing a pair of old Shimano pedals to my new crankset and they threaded all the way in.

What would be your course of action?

Verify the pedal threads are consistent across the length of the threads. Chase the crank threads with a pedal tap set. You need a 9/16 x 20tpi left and right. Most shops have these and will do it for you if you bring coffee…
