Campagnolo QCK bbright

Very specific question here.

I have the new Campagnolo 13 groupset with the new QCK crankset. On the Campagnolo website it says there is a matching BBright bottom bracket, but I haven’t been able to find one. Does anyone know if this part actually exists?

Failing that do I just use a bb30 and try and bodge the inner spacer?

Not sure that would work. In theory, Campagnolo should make a BBright version of the bottom bracket as described here: https://www.campagnolo.com/us-en/qck-tech-bottom-bracket/CCUSUPERRECORD13.html And also here https://media.campagnolo.com/seecommerce/original/C-CU-SUPER-RECORD-13-TM4EN?_gl=1*1amdra7*_ga*MTEyNDc4MjgyOC4xNzU4NTYyODU2*_ga_K91LX9RR03*czE3NTg1NjI4NTUkbzEkZzAkdDE3NTg1NjI4NTckajYwJGwwJGg2OTI5MjkxMTU.*_gcl_au*NzkwMTM5NDU4LjE3NTg1NjI4NTg.

Perhaps a distributor can help you find the right version?

This is the crazy thing. Campagnolo manuals say it exists, but talking to retailers (starbike), they say their distributors don’t have it in BBright. Truly a mystery.

You might try contacting Greame Freestone King at Velotech, in the UK. That’s a Campagnolo Tech Center, and Greame seems to be a go-to guy for finding Campagnolo stuff. Velotech Cycling Ltd - Velotech Industry standard training and Campagnolo Approved Service Centre (UK)

Also, there may be 3rd party manufacturers for the cups. Kogel’s implementation provides both cups and bearings, so it requires you to take the stock bearings off your crank spindles … which does require a specialized tool.

Actually, if you search for Campagnolo BBRight, I do find results, like this one at Performance Bike.

So I’ve done some digging. Apparently the BBright Protech brackets sold incredibly poorly, so Campagnolo have released all other specs but not this. Campagnolo lists BBright as “in production” likely release in 2026, but will have to see.

The more you know.
