Hi folks - I have several pairs of Castelli bib shorts, which I find excellent in terms of fit, comfort of the pad, etc. However, recently I have been finding tiny fragments of foam on my kit when washed, and can only guess that it is coming from the bib pads - nothing else with foam in the wash, and other general washes in the same machine are fine. Each bib has probably been washed 10-20 times, in a washing machine on a cold/gentle setting and left to air dry. Has anyone seen this issue, or have any thoughts on anything I may be doing wrong? Thanks! 
It’s quite common for bibshorts to have a little bit of excess foam outside the pad stitching - see attached photo for an example (in fact happens to be Castelli). I would not be surprised if little bits of that came out in the wash, but it shouldn’t be affecting the usability or lifespan of the shorts in any way.
Many thanks - that’s reassuring. The bibs still feel fine, so hopefully all will be well with them. The foam only shows up on certain types of clothing - can wash those separately
Avoid UV, i.e. don’t dry your kit in direct sun light. Winter maybe OK depending on your local climate.
