I’m travelling with 2 XC mountain bike racers, so we’ll have 3 people and 2 bikes. The bikes are being flown in bike bags, but once we arrive I’m trying to figure out the easiest rental vehicle for transporting the bikes assembled between the accommodation and the race venue.
Would a pickup truck, minivan, or large SUV be the best option? For example, pickup with straps in the bed, or minivan/SUV with seats folded down and likely the front wheels removed. Interested in what has worked best for others.
