In the last Geek Warning, Caley was complaining about people have electric pumps but finding dead batteries when they go to use them on the trail.
It got me thinking about all the batteries I rely on for my rides. My road bike has the most batteries. It has DI2 and a power meter. I also use a Bontrager Ion front light with a Garmin Edge 530 and a Radar. Top it all off with electric pump.
For backups, I bought a mini DI2 to USB charger and the smallest USB battery pack I could find on Amazon. It’s about the size of a few credit cards stacked up.
What’s everyone else’s fall back plan to deal with the digital world of bikes?
