Are there any options for gravel forks fitting 32" wheels?

Hi Escapees!

Are there any carbon forks for gravel fitting 32” inch wheel?

I’m looking around for a custom frame project so steerer dimensions are of second importance.

Thanks in advance!

Suspension corrected MTB forks will probably be long enough, and many will clear 3” tyres. Otherwise custom steel is probably it until/unless 32” reaches critical mass.

Check out the Whiskey No.9 long travel adjusted fork. I haven’t looked at the numbers, but there is some very serious clearance there.

I too have been looking for the Ideal 32” Gravel Fork. The current best and shortest option that fits 32” tires is the Columbus Futura Adventure (MTB) Fork at 470mm Axle to Crown. There are some good images of 32” with this fork in The Radavist Bespoked Coverage.

None of the 430mm forks I’ve found fit the 32”. I think you would need at least 440mm with a super slim crown or 450mm would probably be the sweet spot but that dosen’t exist in the aftermarket currently.

Curve do odd sized forks.

A stab in the dark, but a gmx+ fork might work. Seek 430 FM (Flat Mount GMX+ Fork) – Curve Cycling

Amazing tips and very useful links. Thank you all.

Looks like the crazy idea could make sense and maybe I’ll have a fancy 32er with pretty looking proportions.

I’m also happy to see options varying in geography as I’m based in EU.

Any idea what max tyre size on 32” would fit this fork?

Ideally I’d aim for clearance for around 50mm tyres on the bike.

I’ve confirmed with Curve the 32” Aspen wont fit in their 430 Fork

The only 32” tire worth getting at the moment is the Maxxis Aspen 32x2.4 and it’ll clear that.

I would strongly urge you to design a bike for that tire. I haven’t heard comment or even rumors of 32” gravel tires from any tire brands.

Thanks @Kevin_McClelland, amazing tips you shared so far. If I could use your kindness even further  : Do you have any tips or things to consider regarding the frame geometry for 32”?
I can only imagine you keep the touch points relative distances fixed - just like for 700c build. Any words of wisdom in chainstay, wheelbase, or other areas?

Thanks in advance!

Just spotted this mention as I’m not on here all that much.
Sorry to say that the Seek 430 will not fit a 32” wheel/tyre. The Seek 500 will work, with plenty of clearance. But it’s also 70mm longer.
