My buddies on the Apple eco system have some neat Air Tag holders on their bikes. Since I’m in the Android/Google Ecosystem I wondered if anyone else has come across any trackers which fit neatly in an air-tag style mount under the seat or bottle cage etc?
Is it actually worthwhile to have an Android tracker? Are people’s Android phones configured to send the location of these trackers kust like with Apple?
Android phones can’t track airtags, but there is a nascent Android ecosystem equivalent. Most recent Androids support Android Findhub (terrible name) and there are some trackers available. I looked into the chipolo loop (Chipolo LOOP - Chipolo) which I like the look of. Unlike airtags it is rechargeable and it can work either with iOS or Android finder networks (but not both at once). It also has an alarm. It is a bit bulkier than an airtag, though.
