That’s funny that you’re concerned with members saving money on tools considering you have probably cost me thousands of dollars going back to the Cycling Tips days. As an example, you mentioned the Snap On Tech Angle torque wrench to Ronan the other week and I ended up taking out a second mortgage to get one. By the way, it is a fantastic torque wrench in all its’ overkilled glory!

Ha! I think I also specifically noted that its price means it’s not one I can comfortably recommend (even though, yes, it’s awesome).

I wanted to resurrect this thread, because I have ordered Rotor cranks and want to install them properly. A lot of the recommendations so far have been US- or UK-specific. Anything for people living in Europe that is a blend of affordable and good? Hazet seems great but costs around 190ish € or their website. For that price I could get a digital Topeak-branded torque wrench. Birzman is significantly cheaper at around 110 €.

Do I just need to bite the bullet and accept to spend around 200 €?

PS Rotor might go belly up soon

I’ve had the bigger Topeak digital wrench for a while now on the recommendation of @Horst_Storkebaum

I’ve been very pleased with it, but cannot speak to accuracy as I’ve done no testing.
