Your Daily Pod Stage 11

The Brave Boys behind the mic claimed that stage 11 was the best stage thus far…unquestionably! I beg to question! I’m a huge MvDP fan, and granted he was in the action again today, but so many good ones to say that any has been unquestionably the best!

Google Stage Results Summary:

Stage 2: Mathieu van der Poel secured a sprint victory, narrowly beating Tadej PogaÄŤar.
Stage 4: Tadej PogaÄŤar edged out Van der Poel and Jonas Vingegaard in a hard-fought sprint in Rouen.
Stage 6: Ben Healy claimed a solo victory after a long-range attack.
Stage 7: Pogačar won on the Mûr-de-Bretagne, beating Vingegaard.
Stage 10: Simon Yates won a challenging stage, while Ben Healy took the yellow jersey
Stage 11: Jonas Abrahamsen won a chaotic stage, with PogaÄŤar crashing but being waited for by the peloton.

Ahh, I can’t pick one! Thoughts???

I think, in terms of there being an action-packed narrative throughout the whole stage, it’s hard to beat Stage 11.

  • Breakaway with a slim margin all day.
  • Constant massive attacks for the first hour or so including big hitters like Wout and Milan
  • GC contenders mixing it up
  • Group 2 coming close to catching Group 1
  • Pogacar’s late crash and ensuing spirit of cycling demonstration
  • Protestor disruption

I haven’t even watched the highlights yet and that’s a lot!

Add into it that the stage was supposed to be one for the sprinters, so to get all the action we did was excellent.

Definitely the best stage so far.
