# XTR 1x12 set up question

I am setting up XTR 1x12 wireless on my gravel bike, and have a question.

I understand that the B-gap is the first part of the derailleur setup, and that the “Low” graphic in the photo is there to aid in achieving the correct b-tension. But, is the largest cog meant to line up to the edge of the metal on which the graphic is printed, or should the teeth line up with the top points of the printed arrows?

You line it up with the contour of the outer plate . See page 31.
