If Remco is due a bonus, it must be quite tough for Quickstep that they have to pay the big bucks for his TT Worlds win but then he’ll probably won’t race in it in Quickstep colours.
Perhaps it might have been a part of the negotiations for his transfer.

3 years in a row the world’s TT champ, 3 time for Quickstep. That’s worth something. I’m sure the marketing team can get something out of the picture of him and Van Wilder on the podium. I have no idea how big the bonus is, but I’m pretty sure the team and/or sponsors will pay it gladly.
There is a decent chance the bonus is paid by Specialized…or at least a significant portion of it.
