i’m just trying to work out what the saddle setback rule for time trial bikes is I’m finding conflicting documents saying it is zero mm or 50 mm behind the bottom bracket. Can anybody please set me straight and provide a link to any official document? My saddle is currently 38 mm behind the bottom bracket and I don’t really want to change it.

I believe Ronan said it changed this year to no restriction on a podcast.

IIRC, Ronan said it was clear for road bikes that the setback was now 0mm, but it isnt as clear for TT bikes.

In essence you can leave it at 38mm setback, it’ll just impact the extension reach you can achieve.

I just found this. Seems like it’s 50mm for tt and 0 for road, which is peak uci nonsense.
