I am finishing up a bit of a weird bike.
It’s a leftover parts build with the intent to sell. An Emonda ALR (size 47) with sram apex XPLR parts. And some Kenda small block 8 35s.
My wife got a new checkpoint last fall, and wanted her GRX DI2 on it. Since the cost difference was so little between the frameset and complete bike she chose based on color, which was the complete one. all the Sram stuff came off that
The Emonda was her trainer bike for a while. It had ultegra di2 stuff on it, which was stripped and stored away for a future frame (for me!). She moved her madone to the trainer because she doesn’t really ride it outside much anymore, but wanted to keep it around in case she gets the motivation to go fast.
The 35s are just a smidge too big on these paradigm wheels. I will likely dig out a set of 32s for it before sending it away.
