Equipment involved:
- Shimano Dura-Ace 12-speed Di2 (shifters set up wireless)
- Left bonus Di2 button configured to prev page
- Right bonus DI2 button configured to next page
- Garmin Edge 840 with latest firmware
About half the time after starting the Edge 840, and after the head unit has established a connection with the shifters, pressing either the left or right bonus button on the shifter causes the Edge 840 to jump two pages. For example, I have four data pages on the Edge 840, so when I’m on the home page (page 1), pressing the right bonus button makes the 840 jump to the third page, skipping the second page. If I am already on page two of the data fields, pressing the right bonus button will cause the 840 to jump to the 4th page, skipping the third page. This issue has persisted over multiple firmware releases (beta and production). While this problem is occurring, going to the Di2 bonus button configuration menu on the 840 and re-selecting the previous page/next page for the left/right bonus buttons does not resolve the issue. It seems like only a power cycle of the 840 fixes this.
