Tubeless with Tube Install Work-around

I am not interested at all in road tubeless. It’s not solving a problem I have, so with tubeless pretty much taking over tire options and not having a pro team mechanic to deal with installs, choices are limited. Like many, I’ve had my struggles getting tubeless to pop into the bead using tubes and a floor pump. Should call out that I use latex. But I’ve hit on a work-around that’ worked well for me.

Once the tire and tube is mounted, I do a quick inflate to make sure there are no issues. I then spray rubbing alcohol into the bead seat and overinflate a bit. The rubbing alcohol acts as a lube to pop the bead, then quickly dries with zero issues for the rim, liner, tire and tube. And zero cursing on my part.
