I use Stan’s Race Day sealant on two road bikes and appreciate the big blobs of whatever in the sealant to block up holes. I have reserve Fillmore valves (not looking to change) and always pop the tyre bead to see sealant levels and top up. Have never used a syringe. On paper it seems like I should stick with race day but keen to hear any thoughts if anyone has tried the new one? I’m not interested in slightly lighter sealant just the puncture sealing effectiveness.
From a quick google the new flavour looks more expensive than race day, although that could be temporary
I have not tried the new Rolled Gold, but I have been monitoring the release. I do like what I have heard. The lighter part I think comes from the ability (Stan’s information) to use less sealant and thus a lighter rotating mass. My predominate interest is promoted ability to seal punctures at higher road tire pressures.
Thanks. I have a crappy old measuring thing which I can barely read accurately. So 15ml difference is not that relevant to me. But maybe that just means like for like it has more hole clogging power. Maybe!

I get the “specially formulated for road tyres” and have seen stan’s youtube videos showing testing. But on the other hand i’m not bothered about tiny weight differences and i find race day very effective on crappy London and surroundings roads.
